Each of us is super unique...


having different goals and ways in which we go about achieving them. Some go it alone, some need accountability partners and others need someone to coach them, to help them get “unstuck”, to ask the questions that will get them motivated and inspired to achieve those goals or get those desired needs met.  I don’t check your “homework” or call to see if you are doing what you said you were going to. I don’t give you advice, I'm not a counselor or a therapist, I may share a story if it’s relevant, but the work portion and the desired outcome are up to you.  
I am trained to coach you in a creative style that supports you in gaining insight to shift your behavior and create new results. With my life experience and advanced trauma informed coaching certification I can coach you through the nuances of trauma should they come up. If you require trauma therapy I am not that person. However we can work together following that. 
My trauma informed basics and advanced training as well as mentoring have been through Moving the Human Spirit. They were my choice for many reasons. First for the experience of the shareholders, their values, culture, and desire to help their graduates reach their goals beyond graduation. Another reason I chose MTHS is because they are accredited through the International Coaching Federation. (ICF) It is important to me that my clients know I am accountable morally and ethically! As well ICF core competencies and ethics are specific that as a coach we do not counsel. I am presently ACC pending through ICF. As a coach, I offer a few different ways to become a client. They include:​  

A free phone call to initially meet, ask questions and see if we are a good fit to work together.
Based on our discussion you can choose if you'd like to proceed and then how you'd like to proceed.
 
We can begin with a 30 minute introduction to coaching if you choose to begin that way, or we can go directly to a choice of  one hour sessions, 1 month, 3 month, or 6 month packages.  Monthly packages contain 3 sessions per month. 
Together we can, if required, tailor a package specifically for you depending on your needs and availability. You may find that 2 sessions per month works better for you or a session every 3 weeks...I am open to configurations that work for you best.  

Public speaking, private groups and events are totally flexible by needs, timing, group location, and size.

A note specifically to those of you that recognize you are trauma survivors,

I
create a safe space for you to share what you are willing to in order to help you recognize what amazing strengths you have gained that have and will serve you moving forward. Many of "us" have heard so many cliche lines from people we've shared with, not because they are unfeeling, they are simply unknowing about the nuances of trauma. I'm not a psychologist, or counselor, I don't diagnose, my space is to work with you from the point of NOW, the present, to help you explore and uncover for yourself what it is that you want more of and how you can go about having that in your life. You define what that is! I don't want to you be standardized and conformed to cliche "normal." I will encourage you to utilize your innate inner resources and those that you have developed to get thus far to release what you don't want and to focus on what you do. That may be a moving target for some depending on the day and for some you know what it is. As trauma survivors we were are NOT broken. We may have been taken apart and believed what someone else told us, did to us or what happened to us. Trauma is a perspective. No one can describe to you except you the trauma or moral injury that you have suffered. I analogize trauma as being like poison. (never meaning to minimize or compare) We get poisoned, we get charcoaled (do the work to heal utilizing counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists etc), we have effects. Next time we get evoked or reminded of that our body is going to react differently but it will still react. It doesn't mean we haven't healed and done what we can. It means that we have "this" work to do now. If you are feeling stuck in the NOW, or know that there is more that you'd like to pursue, a coach can help you do that.
